January may seem like it's going on forever, but Kathryn Dennis is officially ready to usher in a whole new season. The Southern Charm fashion-lover and beauty chameleon is stepping in front of the camera once again for a fabulous new photo shoot to show off the latest resort styles. And though we were absolutely taken with each and every look, nothing could take our attention away from the stunning updo Kathryn rocked for the photos.
On January 28, Kathryn posed for a quick video shared by her friend, the talented hair and makeup artist for Southern Charm Chelsea Shea. In the video (with Britney Spears blasting in the background, no less), Kathryn showed off her gorgeous hair and makeup look for the shoot, which included a smoldering set of long lashes, a bright red lip, and — wait for it — a chic, slightly messy Dutch crown braid.
The elaborate hairstyle is simply breathtaking on Kathryn, and though it looks like it would take hours to create, the 'do can actually be mastered in a matter of minutes. Kathryn even shared pics on her Instagram Stories as she sat in the makeup chair, showing the beginning of the effortless style.
We're so used to seeing the fiery redhead with either her trademark long waves or her Josie and the Pussycats-inspired short, straight style that this not-so-casual updo feels really refreshing.
