Kathryn Dennis Is "Feeling Very Elle Woods" in a Throwback-Inspired Pink Outfit

Kathryn Dennis is a fashion risk taker. Of course, it should come as no surprise that the same leggy redhead who routinely slays in everything from a black latex dress to neon spiked heels has had a passion for style way before we ever got to know her. But in a recent post, the Southern Charm beauty rocked a retro-inspired bubble gum-hued ensemble and casually dropped a little "fun fact" about her past blogging life inspired by the movie Legally Blonde.
Kathryn took to Instagram on March 4 to share a sweet, playful pic with pal Danni Baird while out at an event in Charleston, South Carolina. For the event, Kathryn donned a pair of bright pink, cropped, skin-tight pants and a coordinating patterned pink cardigan paired with pink feather-trimmed heels worn with white socks. As if that wasn't enough of the flirty hue, Kathryn added a throwback-era half updo with a pink ribbon and bold pink lipstick to boot.
It was a lot of look, but Kathryn, per usual pulled it off effortlessly. Turns out, she had a little inspiration from none other than the character Elle Woods of Legally Blonde fame for her ensemble.
"Feeling very Elle Woods today in my throwback ribbon and Kensie socks," she explained in her caption. "Fun fact I used to have a blog in college called Legally Red: The Pursuit of Life Love and a Law Degree. Went another direction but Happy Pink Wednesday from @danni_baird and KD."
Wait, what?! Who knew that Kathryn secretly had a previous life as a style blogger with a little law on the side?
