Madison LeCroy Reveals the Beauty Treatment That Makes Her "Feel Alive"
The Southern Charm cast member says the treatment can make "you smell like shit, but it just looks so good."
Madison LeCroy understands that beauty can sometimes be... smelly?
The Southern Charm-er touched on the subject during a recent Q&A session on Instagram, where she was asked to name her go-to beauty boost treatments.
Madison on spray tans: “You smell like shit, but it just looks so good"
“I like a good spray tan,” she said in a July 6 Instagram Story. “I don’t even care if I have a real tan. There’s something about getting that on my face. I just feel alive. I feel thinner.”
However, Madison acknowledged an unfortunate and common downside of sunless tanners: the unusual stench that's typically caused by the dihydroxyacetone (DHA) chemical reaction.
“You smell like shit, but it just looks so good,” she continued. “Your teeth are white, your hair looks better. Anyways… OK. We get it.”
Hydrating facials are a must for Madison
Madison, who has spent years working in the hair and makeup industry, admitted she had neglected her beauty treatments for about a month, but when she does need a boost, she usually starts by addressing her skin.
“I normally go to Ella Ora,” she said, referring to the skin therapy clinic located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. “I do like a hydrating facial because I feel like there is not enough moisture that could literally be in my skin.”
Madison's Multi-Day Hair Process
Madison also said she likes to keep her hair looking salon-fresh.
“Highlights. I always kinda freshen up around my hairline,” she explained. “You can go to the salon and get your hair done. It just takes 48 hours to get my hair done because we do color one day, [and] the second day we do extensions. So that’s like a process.”
Minutes later, Madison addressed a question regarding one of her most recognizable facial features.
“What happened to your dimples? Filler?” the Instagram user asked.
Madison’s response was, unsurprisingly, cheeky.
The mother of one posted a selfie with a big ol’ smile splashed across her dimpled face. “Now pour yourself a bowl of cereal,” she captioned the post.
Madison addresses the possibility of having more kids
Elsewhere in the Q&A session, Madison doled out some quick dating advice, shared her favorite TV shows, and revealed if she wanted to have kids with her husband, Brett Randle, whom she married in November 2022. Madison said she was open to expanding her family but wanted “at least one year of marriage under [her] belt” before having more children.
“I don’t want to spoil it for y’all,” she said about the pregnancy inquiry. “You’ll just have to watch and stay tuned.”
