Naomie Olindo's Cookout Went Horribly Wrong

And when we say horribly wrong, we mean the Southern Charm cast member had to call in the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard wasn't on Naomie Olindo's guest list when she hosted an intimate dinner party, but the military men showed up anyway. In her recent Instagram Stories, the Southern Charm fashion mogul shared exactly how her cookout took an unexpected turn.

How to Watch

It started off beautifully. In her posts from the night of June 17, Naomie shared a glimpse at her friends gathered under the moonlight. As the gang tucked into fresh seafood at a candlelit table, they laughed and sipped wine without a care in the world. And then, Naomie stood up.

In her Instagram Stories from the next morning, the France native wrote: "Last night I tied to host a small, intimate lowcountry boil on the dock. I lit candles and went to get something inside, ended up catching the table and a chair on fire." She continued: "The COAST GUARD thankfully saw and put out the fire."

All's well that ends well. And hopefully Naomie had some leftover lobster for her uninvited — but very welcome — guests.

Though this seafood boil didn't turn out as planned (there's always next time and electric candles, Naomie!) we've seen other Bravolebrities pull off epic feasts. Click here to see Marlo Hampton's take on the classic Southern dinner, and see inside Vicki Gunvalson's first shrimp boil here
