It was girls night out in Los Angeles for Southern Charm alum Landon Clements! She hit the Sunset Tower Hotel with a pal as part of an Emmy night romp, and Landon shared an array of snaps to connect her Instagram followers to all the action.

In one selfie of the dressed-up and picturesque friends, Landon nodded to the drinks they were having together to get festive... and socially lubricated. Landon's caption on the photo says it all: "Personality cocktails."

Well, this author is here to tell you something, dear reader: Now that you've heard that phrase, you'll never forget it. A former boss of mine — a native of Ohio, not the south, by the way — referred to drinks using the very same phrase. And I found it so amusing — and, more to the point, just such an accurate descriptor — that I have never thought of it any other way.

First date? Hit those personality cocktails stat. Tough day? Nothing a couple of personality cocktails can't fix (in the short term). Awkward company? Aww, buck up, buttercup — that's what personality cocktails are for!
