According to the restaurant's website, the business was originally started by Darryl Dueltgen, who was a "family friend and operator of one of the Gencarelli restaurants" in New Jersey. Dueltgen then enlisted Kathy, "a lifelong friend of Gencarelli," as a partner in the restaurant, considering her "incredible passion for the restaurant business and culinary arts in general."

Kathy Wakile's Cannoli Business Details

In addition to living her best pizza life. Kathy is also still making her delicious cannolis.

Kathy, who wrote the cookbook Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet in 2014, used to sell cannoli kits via QVC. Now, the New Jersey mom is distributing her homemade cannolis via Goldbelly, a "curated marketplace for gourmet food and gifts."

According to Kathy's page on Goldbelly, you can purchase a 24-pack of her scrumptious cannolis for $54.95.

"These scratch-made cannolis are just like Kathy’s grandmother used to make," the product description reads. "Each shell is filled with a sweet ricotta cream that’s studded with chocolate chips, for a taste unlike any you’ve ever had before."

According to Kathy's Indulge by Kathy Wakile Instagram account, she doesn't just make cannolis with chocolate chips, but an array of desserts with sprinkles, pistachios, and raspberry drizzle.
