Bravolebrities don't always keep it clean — at least not where their diets are concerned. In the past, they've tempted us with pizza, stirred up taco cravings, and given us some serious pasta envy. But some Bravo personalities also have a way of making salad look downright delicious, and we're rounding up some of the most inspiring veggie-loaded dishes they've posted, below.
From the chicken-walnut salad that Nene Leakes loves to Jazmin Johnson's simple mix of chicken and mixed greens to Quad Webb's homemade salmon salad, there are goods in here that are packed with protein. For vegetarians, Tamra Judge and Bethenny Frankel both have tips for dishes that are easy to whip up at home. And if you only have two minutes to spare, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has your lunchtime covered with a recipe that's done in seconds flat.
Nene Leakes' "Favorite" Chicken Salad
The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG once took to Twitter to proclaim a certain chicken salad "the bomb.com." From Atlanta's Cafe at Pharr, the walnut-chicken salad is made with all-white chicken meat, crushed walnuts, and golden raisins. In her tweet, Nene called the chicken-based mix: "my favorite Salad." If you ask us, that's a pretty solid endorsement.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's Kale Salad
"I’m a huge salad fan so I usually can’t go one day without having a huge bowl of salad," the Shahs of Sunset mama once told The Skinny Confidential. "I have recently been adding kale, chia seeds, and quinoa to everything. Such healthy super foods."
GG also shared the exact recipe for her go-to salad: It's kale or arugula mixed with chopped pears or apples, steamed yellow beets, baby broccoli, mustard seeds, extra virgin olive oil, a dash of rice vinegar, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, cayenne pepper, and a touch of garlic powder. The new mom promised it's "amazingly delicious."
Bethenny Frankel's "Favorite Salad Ever" & 3-Ingredient Salad
The Real Housewives of New York City alum is a whiz in the kitchen, and she has a couple of simple, tasty salad recipes on lock. One example? "My favorite salad ever is corn, avocado, tomato, romaine, red onion, vinaigrette," she once shared.
The Skinnygirl founder has also been known to dig into a salad of arugula, avocado, and tomatoes. That's just three ingredients, if you're keeping track at home:
Jazmin Johnson's Salad to Start Your Week off Right
The Married to Medicine Los Angeles fitness buff says eating this salad will "start your week off right." It's a simple blend of mixed greens with four ounces of skinless boneless chicken breast.
Teresa Giudice's Lunch & Dinner Salads
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cookbook author once shared a salad she'd whipped up at home, and it inspired us to lift up our lunch game. It's a mix of lettuce, cucumbers, halved grape tomatoes, apples, and a handful of nuts.
Teresa has also shared a snap of a salad that'd be perfect for dinner. The restaurant dish mixed greens, grilled chicken, shredded carrots, and avocado. The New Jersey mama paired the dish with a glass of lemon water.
Karen Huger's "Favorite Healthy Salad"
The Real Housewives of Potomac perfume maker shared a snap of her "favorite healthy salad" on Twitter. It's the warm roasted vegetable salad with salmon from Virginia's Silver Diner. The dish is made with beets, squash, Brussels sprouts, red peppers, basil, rocket greens, kale, sunflower seeds, pecans, and dried apricots; it's all drizzled with champagne vinaigrette.
Teddi Mellencamp's "2 Minute Lunch" Salad
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach once shared an easy, healthy lunch recipe. "Quick 2 minute lunch that is delish," she wrote on Instagram, adding the recipe: "Arugula, lentils, avocado, pico de gallo." She also adds a dash of Trader Joe's beloved Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
Tamra Judge's Vegetarian & Post-Run Salads
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is a famously clean eater, and her daily diet involves plenty of salads. Tamra once shared a snap of the salad she'd ordered at the Coto Club, and it's an enticing mix of mixed baby greens with blueberries, strawberries, apple, dried cranberries, feta, toasted almonds, and white balsamic vinaigrette. "Vegetarian life," Tamra captioned the snap.
In another Instagram share, Tamra showed a plate of veggies topped with ground turkey. "Perfect lunch after 3 mile run," she wrote. She sipped on some sparkling cucumber water to wash it all down.
Asa Soltan Rahmati's "Power Salad"
The Shahs of Sunset alum once took to Instagram to share a striking photo of a rainbow-hued salad. "Been making these gorgeous power salads for the Three of Us every night," she wrote, presumably referring to herself, her son, Soltan Jackson, and her beau, Jermaine Jackson Jr.
The photo showed baby kale, sprouts, cherry tomatoes, olives, chopped celery, cilantro, and French Breakfast radish. The power snack also has shredded carrots, peas, and broccoli.
Kyle Richards' "Amazing" Salad
"I'm not trying to brag, but I am making a really amazing salad," the RHOBH OG once wrote on Instagram. "It's got tomatoes and cucumbers and pomegranates and cauliflower and carrots and arugula."
Quad Webb's Salmon Salad
Amid the COVID-19 crisis, the Married to Medicine cookbook author took to Instagram to share: "When the #Quarantine is lifted I still want to be slim in the waist and cute in the face." At the time, she was cooking up a salad at home that contained seared Cajun salmon, mixed greens, and garlic-herb dressing.
