Though she may be considering some new ink, Ciara is also in the process of removing some old body art, recently taking to her Instagram Stories to show the details.

Ciara Miller gets her tattoo removed

On November 14, Ciara hopped on her Instagram to reveal she was getting a tattoo removed from her left forearm. In a slew of photos taken at Cutera Medical Spa in New York City, Ciara showed she was getting her tattoo removed with the help of cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank, who used the PICO laser, which, according to the business's website, uses "multiple wavelengths" to "[create] small, micro-wounds in the upper layers of the epidermis and dermis to induce collagen stimulation and remodeling while leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed for results with faster healing."

In the close-up photo, we got a peek at the ink, which appeared to be a large flower with layers and layers of petals. Ciara also wrote over the Story that the process "wasn't painless but worth it."

Moreover, in another photo, Ciara showed before and after photos of the removal process, showing how the pigment from the tattoo was slowly but surely being taken out. Ciara further clarified the details of the procedure in a caption over the Story.

"[G]getting this removed will take more sessions. But also important to lift the pigment slowly so it doesn't lift my actual skin pigment," Ciara wrote.

Other Bravolebrities who got their tattoos removed

In addition to Ciara, we've kept up with several other Bravolebs over the years who've decided to part ways with their body art.

In February, The Real Housewives of New Jersey kid Gia Giudice revealed she was in the process of removing a small star tattoo from her left wrist. Then, in March, Teresa Giudice's daughter hopped onto her Instagram Stories to explain why she’s saying goodbye to the body art.

“I got this tattoo my senior year of high school going into college, with two of my best friends at the time — and I’m no longer friends with one of them. I just don’t want any meaningless tattoos on my body," she shared.

Additionally, in 2022, Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy revealed she was undergoing tattoo removal treatment on a tattoo that said "Faith" on her wrist. "I knew there was going to be a day and a time when I was going to have to talk about this horrendous tattoo that I had,” she said at the time. “So, [there’s] no meaning behind the tattoo. To be honest, I was turning 17 [years old]. I used a fake ID that said I was 33. I don’t know how the heck this guy even let me do this, but at that point, I just wanted a wrist tattoo.”
