We Have an Update on Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s Wedding Plans
The Summer House couple is expected to tie the knot later this year in Mexico.
The wedding bells are still ringing for Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke.
Nearly 10 months after announcing their engagement, the Summer House couple is completely locked in wedding planning mode. And judging by Lindsay’s Instagram activity, they’re making great progress.
Lindsay and Carl’s wedding takes shape
Although Lindsay has expressed frustration over the wedding planning process, she has provided multiple looks at what her special day might entail. The two traveled to Mexico this week for a food tasting and ceremony site review, as well as a hair-and-makeup trial for the bride-to-be. Lindsay documented the brief getaway via Instagram on Thursday, June 22, as she and Carl quickly approach their fall wedding date.
“Quick trip to Mexico for some wedding planning,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, which showed off an amazing ocean view.
She went on to share another photo of herself at the hotel gym: “Managed to get a good workout on vacay!” she captioned the Story.
The Summer House couple will have a destination wedding
The Bravo couple is working with Atelier A and Beachy Vows, two event-planning companies that specialize in destination weddings. During the March 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Carl revealed he and Lindsay would host the ceremony in Central America.
“I’m happy to report… we’re locked in with a venue. It’s going to be Mexico,” he told host Andy Cohen. The sales professional then confirmed which Below Deck cast member was in talks to officiate the wedding.
“We’re still working out some of the logistics,” he said, “but we’re going to have a conversation with Captain Lee [Rosbach].”
The Drama Surrounding Lindsay and Carl’s Engagement
Lindsay and Carl’s engagement caused quite a stir during the latest season of Summer House, as their longtime castmate Danielle Olivera questioned if her former BFFs were “moving hella fast.” The tensions spilled over to Season 7’s two-part reunion, where Lindsay and Carl got into heated arguments with their housemates.
At one point during the reunion special, the couple addressed which of their fellow cast members would get a wedding invite.
“We only want the people there who support our relationship,” Lindsay said.
“There’s definitely some people sitting up here today that are going to be there,” Carl added. “I just really hope that we can find a way to remove some of the deep-rooted anger and hate and try and figure out a path forward. I thought today would be that chance, so we’ll finalize the invite list hopefully soon.”
