We Finally Know Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif's Adorable Meet-Cute That Launched the Best Bromance Ever

There are few things in this world as enduring and precious as Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif's adorable, weird, brotherly bromance. We've watched them over the years not only use their magic to fix patients with impossible cases on Botched, but also bond and tease each other right before our very eyes. And now we're finally learning a bit more about how these two plastic surgeons became the BFFs we know and love today.

“1999 when I opened up my office in Beverly Hills, I got a call from my sister and my mom,” Paul recently told Page Six. “They go, ‘We met this funny — funny back then, 20 years ago — Dr. Terry Dubrow in Newport Beach.’ So he actually met my family, especially loved my mom.”

Terry's version of events varies slightly, as you might imagine. “I knew him before he was married to his third wife? First third wife!” he said, before adding with his signature sense of good-humored ribbing about his pal, “After meeting the mom and the sister, I thought I got to meet this guy. They’re so nice. And then unfortunately, you know, it didn’t cross the gender lines. The male wasn’t that good.”

Har. Har. Har.

And if you're wondering if their dynamic has always been what we see today for the last two decades, Paul noted: "For example, I won’t hear from him for a month. All of a sudden I’ll get this text of him insulting me just like he does now. Nothing has changed in 20 years!”
