Adrienne Maloof Decides the Fate of the Universe

Well, just Miss Universe.

By Lauren Metz

Adrienne Maloof held the universe in the palm of her hands Monday. With some help from Andy Cohen, of course.

"What a wonderful evening in Brazil! Congratulations to the beautiful #MissUniverse Leila Lopes!" the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star turned Miss Universe judge tweeted from the 60th Annual Miss Universe Pageant. Hubby Paul came along on the South American beauty adventure and bragged via the Twitterverse, "@AdrienneMaloof I had a great time at the #MissUniverse pageant. She will always be my very own beauty queen." Someone's going for brownie points.

The competition was hosted by our very own Andy Cohen and NBC's Natalie Morales, and broadcast live from Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil. "@BravoAndy did a great job last night with miss universe! Congrats! Xo," RHONJ's Melissa Gorga cheered, and The Real Housewives of Miami's Adriana de Moura agreed. "@BravoAndy u r doing a great job hosting Miss Universe. Otimo! Parabens!"

Adriana watched anxiously as her native country's bombshell inched closer and closer toward the crown. "This Miss Universe is killing me...Miss Brazil is now on the top five!" she tweeted. But after tallying the judges' votes, Leila Lopes took home the shiny new crown. (Eat your heart out, Kate Middleton.)

Olesia Stefanko of Ukraine was named first runner-up, followed by Brazil's Priscila Machado. But Adriana's not holding a grudge. "Congrats to Miss Angola! Truly beautiful and elegant," she wrote.
