Now that Alex McCord Is on RHUGT, We Know Where She Stands with Luann de Lesseps

The Real Housewives of New York City’s Alex McCord is making her return to reality TV — and Morocco. 

Set to appear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 4 — which, like Season 2, will be Ex-Wives Club themed — Alex responded to the exciting casting news in a way that RHONY loyalists are sure to appreciate.

She took to Instagram on January 10 to post a photo of a leather wedge boot, tagging Louis Vuitton. “Never, ever a mistake,” Alex captioned the post, making it clear she was referencing Luann de Lessep’s infamous RHONY Season 4 insult, “Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.” (The shade, of course, came after Luann said a pair of Alex’s LV shoes looked like they belonged to “Herman Munster.”)

Alex’s post quickly garnered several comments, one of which came from her soon-to-be castmate Gretchen Rossi. “Looking forward to it,” The Real Housewives of Orange County alum wrote. 

Luann, meanwhile, made an entire post of her own. In it, she not only referenced another iconic RHONY Season 4 scene with Alex, but also RHUGT Season 4’s destination, as said scene occurred during the cast’s trip to Morocco. “I’m enjoying myself with my guests,” Luann tells Alex in the clip. “Go back from the cabinet you came out of!”

Then, referencing the casting news, Luann wrote, “Well……guess who’s out of the cabinet.” She tacked on a crying-laughing emoji and tagged Alex, adding, “Love this! Congratulations to all the [OG] housewives!”

Starring alongside Alex and Gretchen are fellow RHUGT newcomers The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Camille Grammer Meyer. They’ll be joined by Season 2 cast members The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Brandi Glanville, and RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson.
