Andy Cohen's Dream Just Came True

Andy Cohen's Dream Just Came True

The #WWHL host should consider a career in country music.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Andy Cohen has accomplished a lot as the host of Watch What Happens Live for the past 13 seasons. But believe it or not, there is one thing that he's never done: sing a duet with country music legend Loretta Lynn.

Well now Andy can cross that off his bucket list because his dream came true during Wednesday's WWHL. Andy sang the 1973 classic "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man" that was originally sung by Loretta and Conway Twitty (clip above). "I am so nervous but so excited," Andy said before he crooned the ditty.

Honestly, we were too because we haven't really ever heard the host sing before. The closest we've ever seen him to performing onstage was when he faced off against Willie Geist on Lip Sync Battle — and lost.

But Andy surprised us all when he donned a 10-gallon hat and sang the tune like a pro. Fellow WWHL guest Isaac Mizrahi was even impressed.

Forget Anderson Cooper; we want Andy to tour with Loretta next.

While we wait for these two to take this show on the road, watch Loretta dish on her fellow country music icons on WWHL, below.
