Andy Cohen Shares a Throwback Photo That Proves Ben Is His Twin
The WWHL host was compared to his 5-year-old son after sharing a photo from his Bar Mitzvah.
Cuteness clearly runs in the Cohen family.
On Tuesday, February 15, Andy Cohen celebrated his mother’s birthday by taking a sweet walk down memory lane. The Watch What Happens Live host posted a throwback photo of him and Evelyn Cohen at his Bar Mitzvah ceremony in the 1980s. Mama Cohen was seen rocking a rounded-style bob and a burgundy dress with a Peter Pan collar and a black bow, while Andy wore a tan sports coat with a black tie and a pair of aviator eyeglasses. (Very on trend with the times.)
“Happy birthday, Mom!” the WWHL host captioned the photo. “And thanks for the great Bar Mitzvah!”

Andy Cohen is "twinning" with his son, Ben
This isn’t the first time little Ben has been compared to his dad. Back in 2020, Andy posted side-by-side pictures of his then 1-year-old son and a throwback photo of himself. Ben wore an adorable Snoopy sweater with a knitted blue beanie, while the young Andy also donned a Snoopy sweatshirt with a similar-looking green hat.
“Twinning with Ben,” he captioned the photo, which included the “Snoopy” hashtag.
Andy Cohen reflects on fatherhood
Andy welcomed Ben via surrogacy in 2019, just weeks after announcing he was becoming a dad. He spoke about his new chapter in a December 2018 episode of WWHL, saying the family addition was a long time coming.
“I’ve always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life,” he said. “If all goes according to plan, in about six weeks time, I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future. Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something I’ve wanted in my heart for my entire life and while it has taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be my most rewarding chapter yet.”
About three years after Ben’s birth, Andy welcomed his daughter Lucy via surrogacy. He reflected on fatherhood during a 2023 appearance on the TODAY show, revealing he was quite inspired by the Housewives.
“You can say a lot about the Housewives, but they’re great moms,” Andy said. “One of the unexpected joys of my time with the Wives is that now, when we’re on breaks from reunions, we’re sitting there waiting, getting touched up and stuff, and we all talk about our kids and about parenting. It’s opened up a portal to the way they parent that I never used to care about very much, frankly.”
