Andy Cohen Welcomes a Daughter via Surrogate: "HERE’S LUCY!!!!!"
The WWHL host shared the news alongside a sweet first photo of the newborn, Lucy Eve Cohen.
We're sending Andy Cohen a big, in fact, huge Mazel: He is a dad again! The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host confirmed on Instagram that he welcomed a baby girl, Lucy Eve Cohen, on Friday, April 29, also sharing a sweet first photo of the newborn as well as details about the tot. This is the second child for Andy who is a dad to a 3-year-old son, Benjamin Allen Cohen.
"HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!" he wrote on Instagram on Friday, shortly after welcoming the baby into his life. "Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy."
Andy first became a dad in February 2019 when he welcomed his son Ben via surrogate. Since becoming a father, Andy has definitely not been shy about sharing updates about his son and their life together, which often includes adorable father-son moments.
Ben is also familiar to Bravo viewers thanks to a cameo in the WWHL opening credits as well as sometimes popping up at reunions, including the recent The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 16 reunion. Ben also never misses the chance for a great hangout in the Bravo Clubhouse and we don't blame him!
Andy has also hinted on multiple occasions at wanting to expand his family and give Ben a sibling. “That would be great. I mean, we'll see," he said in an interview with Extra earlier this year.
Of course, prior to becoming a dad, the Real Housewives gathered to celebrate Andy's next chapter at a legendary and iconic baby shower, which is still a hot topic three years later. As a matter of fact, in the latest edition of Housewife to Housewife, Dolores Catania and Robyn Dixon reflected on the iconic event, which you can check out by signing up to become a Bravo Insider, below.
