Andy & Miley Are In Love "But She Doesn't Know It"

The #WWHL host reveals what he and the pop star have in common at the amfAR Inspiration gala in NYC.

Andy Cohen knows exactly how he'd want to spend some time with Miley Cyrus in the Big Apple. You know, besides at amfAR’s sixth annual Inspiration Gala, where both the Watch What Happens Live host and the singer were being honored.

"I would make her sing," he tells the Daily Dish on the red carpet at the big event in New York on June 16.

While the venue for this private concert remains a mystery, Andy did solve another one for us. As it turns out, the accolade, in which they were being recognized for their support in the fight against AIDS, isn't the only thing that Miley and Andy have in common.

"We're both passionate," he says. "We're both passionate about amfAR and gay issues — and we're in love with each other, but she doesn't know it."

In addition to Miley and Andy, the fete was attended by a who's who of Bravolebs, including Real Housewives of New York wives Sonja Morgan, Luann De Lesseps and Kelly Bensimon; Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes; as well as Million Dollar Listing New York agents Luis D. Ortiz and Fredrik Eklund.

Andy was honored with the amfAR Inspiration Award for his work with the organization over the last decade. He is also a member of the board of directors for the crisis center foundation, Friends in Deed, which works with those with life-threatening illnesses.

"He's a close friend of mine and a real inspiration," Fredrik shares. "He always made me feel really safe in the Bravo world, you know cause it can get a little tumultuous sometimes and crazy, especially in a reunion or other places. And I always look over and he blinks at me and I always feel safe. He's such a good-hearted, warm [person]."

His MDLNY pal, Luis, had some equally warm feelings for Andy. "They are very influential people," he says. "A lot of people respect and admire what Andy represents and what he has to say and an organization like this, honoring someone like that-- it was about time."

Meanwhile RHONY's Kelly Bensimon couldn't help but shout out his contribution to pop culture. "Andy is a journalist and I don't think that people recognize that he's an incredible journalist, came from CBS," she says. "So I'm just so proud that he's here tonight because he has such an amazing career. And he's the one that created the Housewives brand. He's the one that is a game-changer in terms of allowing these women to provide for their families. And everyone's like, 'People are famous; they're doing well.' No, they're making money for their families and that's incredible."

Fellow Inspiration award winner, Miley, has become a go-to voice and activist for LGBT issues. She launched the nonprofit Happy Hippie Foundation earlier this year. She also works with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Elton John AIDS Foundation and serves as a spokeswoman for MAC's Viva Glam lipstick line.

"Well Miley is just a huge inspiration because a) she is just so philanthropic, but she is such a pioneer," Kelly says. "My kids grew up with her and now adults are admiring her for all of her work. She's a really confident and she makes an impression and I think that's something to admire."

Fredrik agrees. "Miley, I just think she's the coolest, amazing woman," he says.
