Anila Sajja Claps Back at Dr. Heavenly Kimes' Blogger Comments: "Who Is She to Talk?"

The Married to Medicine dentist had an equally sassy response to the new cast member's rebuttal.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Dr. Heavenly Kimes memorably questioned Anila Sajja's career as a blogger earlier this season of Married to Medicine. Now, the newest addition to the Married to Medicine cast is finally telling us how she really feels about the dentist's comments.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo and streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

During Anila's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen debut on April 11, the blogger responded to Dr. Heavenly, who said that she didn't think blogging "was a job" at the Married to Medicine crew's basketball game earlier this season. "Oh my god. First of all, she does 15 different things. She's got so many jobs, so who is she to talk? Can we understand what job she has?" Anila fired back in the above clip. "She's a dentist, she's a relationship expert, she's now opening up a beauty store. So, I'm sorry, I'm a blogger, and I'm an expert in that — and I get a paycheck."

When word got back to Dr. Heavenly about what was said about all of her endeavors on WWHL, the dentist simply said "Thanks Anila!" on Twitter.

Dr. Heavenly previously clarified her comments about Anila's blogging career during her appearance on WWHL on March 28. "Usually people that blog, it's a hobby, it's not their main job," Dr. Heavenly explained.

The subject of Anila's career came up in the first place because Dr. Heavenly told her that she believed taking care of the kids is her job and not her husband's. "OK, first of all, that, what she's saying, is old-fashioned. Hold up. Old. Fashioned," Anila gave her take on Dr. Heavenly's stance on childrearing on WWHL. "You know, that's back in the day, maybe in 1975, but we're in 2021, girl. No thank you."

But when it came to the dramatic conclusion to that basketball game in which Toya Bush-Harris said that her Instagram posts about her home inspired Dr. Heavenly's own home design, Anila had to go against her friend. "Listen, it's a reach, OK, because everyone wants a fireplace, everyone wants a pool, everyone wants a nice closet. I mean, I want my bloggers closet," Anila said. "So it's a little bit of a reach."
