Cynthia Bailey Confirms Where She Stands with Kenya Moore Today
The RHOA bride-to-be reflects on her ups and downs with her longtime bestie after the Mike Hill proposal drama.
Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore have had ups and downs over the years, like most friends. So when Kenya teased Mike Hill's surprise proposal to Cynthia before he popped the question earlier this season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, some fans may have been wondering if she did it on purpose. Mike doesn't think so.
Does Cynthia agree?
"Well, I will say this, I mean at the end of the day, Kenya is my friend. I really don't think that she really wanted to ruin my proposal," Cynthia said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday (January 5). "It was pretty sh---y for her to tell me that I was going to be proposed to, but you know what, she made a mistake."
On the show, Kenya defended her actions by saying she had a premonition about his proposal (clip above). "It is what it is and in her defense she does have her Miss Cleo moments where she can kind of predict the future a little bit but for me at this point in my life with friendships, if you make a mistake you make a mistake," Cynthia later said on WWHL. "It's not a deal breaker."
While she was in the Clubhouse, one WWHL caller wanted to know if Kenya acted the way she did because she was feeling jealous as she was struggling in her relationship with Marc Daly (the couple announced their separation in September 2019).
"I don't think she's jealous. I think her situation is completely separate from mine. It is what it is. I mean, she wants her relationship to work. I want her relationship to work. At the end of the day, I still stand by the fact that I believe that Kenya is my friend, even though she was a bad friend at the proposal," Cynthia said. "She is my friend."
