At Least One Below Deck Couple Is Still Together Today
Jamie Jason and Chandler Brooks gave us a glimpse of their romantic Valentine's Day date.
At the end of the latest seasons of Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean, the fate of several of the relationships that began at sea hung in the balance. Some romances fizzled out once they got on land, but we are happy to report that at least one couple in the Below Deck-Below Deck Med family is still going strong.
Below Deck Med's Jamie Jason recently shared an uber-romantic photo of herself with her boyfriend, Below Deck's Chandler Brooks, from their Valentine's Day celebration this year. In the photo, the couple looks all dolled up out of their uniforms. Chandler opted for a light blue button-down shirt and khakis while Jamie sported a sleek black dress. The pic was taken on — where else? — a boat. "I chose you in this life and the next," Jamie gushed in the post.
Prior to the filming of the Below Deck Med Season 3 reunion last summer, Jamie teased to The Daily Dish (clip above) that she was "in a little bit of a something something" and we "would be surprised if it does come out." Jamie later confirmed that she and Chandler were an item last fall after dropping some major hints about the relationship on social media.
Since then, Jamie has shared the steamiest photos of herself and Chandler. The couple has even gotten Ross Inia's blessing, who confirmed that they are "happy and in love."
The other relationships featured in the most recent seasons of Below Deck and Below Deck Med don't seem to have had as much success as Jamie and Chandler. Ashton Pienaar and Laura Betancourt are just "dear friends" these days, as are Rhylee Gerber and Tyler Rowland. Hannah Ferrier's relationship with Conrad Empson ended pretty much at the end of Season 3 of Below Deck Med, but she now has a new boyfriend. João Franco and Brooke Laughton tried to make their relationship work after Season 3 of Below Deck Med ended, but they ultimately called it quits. João is now seeing a woman named Michelle Dicu.
Below Deck Med will be back later this year with returning crew members Captain Sandy Yawn, Colin Macy-O'Toole, Hannah, and João. Check out a sneak peek of the new season, below.
