Here's How Erika Jayne Really Feels About Ariana Madix Starring in Chicago
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared her thoughts on the Vanderpump Rules cast member's Broadway debut.
When Erika Jayne appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on January 17, she shared a photo of her lacy look — along with a very cheeky caption — on Instagram. "I didn’t come here to impress none of you mfs," she wrote.
But, is Erika impressed by Ariana Madix, who will be following in her footsteps by assuming the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago?
We'll let you be the judge of that. In the clip above, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills entertainer shares her thoughts on the Vanderpump Rules cast member's Broadway debut.
Erika Jayne congratulates Ariana Madix for joining the cast of Chicago
While in the Bravo Clubhouse, the catsuit-wearing Erika had a congratulatory message for her fellow Bravolebrity-turned-Roxie. When a caller asked Erika whether she had any advice for Ariana, she said: "I will say this: congratulations, Ariana, it's going to be the best experience of your entire life... [Ariana is] going to have a great run."
When Ariana appeared on WWHL herself back in December, Andy asked her whether she planned to ask Erika for advice about playing the role. "Yeah, why not?" Ariana said. "[Erika] has a great voice, she's very talented."
Ariana Madix opens up about her Broadway debut
At the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere screening and cocktail party on January 17, Ariana dished more about her big debut. "I was white-knuckling through my last year, but I'm glad to be where I am now," Ariana said at the Pumptini-soaked bash. "It's been amazing. I love the rehearsal process. We're having so much fun. Everyone is a dream to learn from and work with."
Previously, the Florida native chatted with Bustle about her big Big Apple moment. "I started doing theater in Catholic [middle] school," the former bartender said. "I always just really wanted to be on stage. Then in high school, I was doing show choir and the high school plays as well. I had dreams, even then, of skipping college altogether, moving to New York, and trying to be in theater. But my mom was like, 'No, you need to actually go to school."
"My 14-year-old self would be so excited," she continued. "I think I would just be like, 'Are you kidding me?'"
And, the new season of Vanderpump Rules will premiere on Tuesday, January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
