While Michael Darby and Chris Bassett definitely experienced tension at Karen Huger and Ray Huger's glamorous vow renewal, it seemed like the long-simmering drama between their wives, Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard Bassett, respectively, had eased a bit. As fans have seen over the years and also in Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the women haven't exactly been able to have a good time around one another.

Until the RHOP Season 6 finale, which aired on October 31, when all seemed cordial between them at the wedding party.

Now, Ashley is revealing the person she called for some advice on how to deal with Candiace during Karen's party in The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 6 After Show. After getting a text from her mom on the way to the vow renewal, Ashley went into the event still not totally sure how to navigate the dynamic with Candiace.

"So I called my mom and I'm like, 'Mom, I've been let down so many times in the past when I've tried to make amends with Candiace. Do you think I should try this again? Should I step out on this limb again?'" Ashley recalled of her conversation with her mom.
