Albie Manzo "Couldn't Be More Excited" for Ashlee Holmes' Life as a Mom

Albie Manzo's sister Lauren Manzo Scalia is due to give birth to her first child early next year, but the eldest Manzo'd with Children kid has already gotten some practice for his upcoming role as uncle with Ashlee Holmes' little one. His cousin and her fiancé Pete Malleo welcomed their son Cameron Hendrix Malleo into the world in August.  

If it seems like everyone in the Manzo famiglia is having babies these days, you're not alone in that thought. "Honestly, I hold my breath when I’m around everybody right now because everyone’s so freaking fertile that I don’t want to catch whatever’s in the air at the Manzo house," Albie joked to The Daily Dish. 

Yes, Albie has met little Cam, and yes, he is super happy for the new parents. "Ashlee, I couldn’t be more excited for. She’s got a really great guy looking after her," he gushed. "I think she waited about 16 seconds before Cameron's out of the womb for his first photo shoot."

Of course, Albie was partly responsible for Ashlee meeting that "really great guy," as well as Lauren's husband Vito Scalia since the Manzo'd son became friends with them first in high school and college, respectively. "I am the hub," Albie said. "It’s fun! It’s cool to see. If you told me when I was 18 years old that these people that I just graduated high school with and this kid I just moved in with are going to be in my life forever and here’s how, I’d be like, 'You’ve got to be kidding.' It’s pretty crazy to think about. I’m very, very lucky in that regard because they’re great guys. They’re really, really, really great guys. It’s a rare commodity now finding people with the values that both of them have and to be as good as dads as both of them are. I look forward to going to both of them for advice eventually."
