"Our Miracle Rainbow Baby Boy is here!" the Summer House alum shared on social media over the weekend. "Cole Davis McAtee made us a family of four on Wednesday night [(March 9)] at 11:24pm and we are head over heels in love with our little guy. Thankful is an understatement."

There’s a new addition on the way to the Summer House family! Ashley Wirkus McAtee recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child. The Summer House alum shared the happy news that she and husband Brad McAtee would be growing their family in an October 17 Instagram post.
“Our Rainbow Miracle Baby coming March 2022,” Ashley wrote in the caption of her post, featuring a photo of herself, her hubby, and their 2-year-old son, Dean. “As you can tell from our smiles we are over the moon! A baby is a true miracle, and I am beyond grateful to share that we are expecting again.”
Several Summer House alums expressed their excitement for the expectant mom in the comments. Ashley's twin sister, Lauren Wirkus, wrote, "Can't wait for another Baby McAtee!" while Everett Weston also chimed in, writing "Congrats!!!!!!" Stephen McGee added, "I'm so so so happy for your and your family. Such a lucky little baby to have you for a mom."
Though Ashley was ecstatic to share the news of another baby, she made sure to acknowledge the difficult road it took to get there. As Ashley has openly expressed before, her personal struggles after suffering previous pregnancy losses had taken a toll.
“Our journey to another baby was not what we expected. The losses that I have experienced have been the darkest times in my life,” she wrote in the post. “If I am being honest there were countless nights where I would cry in bed thinking I would never have another baby. I know so many of you can relate. I hate that infertility, and losses are a reality for many of us women - something we still don’t talk a lot about. Opening up about my journey has led me to meet so many women who have similar stories and it makes me realize how strong and incredible we are as women.”
“Thank you all for your support and following along with my journey. I am with all of you — the ones struggling with infertility or loss,” Ashley continued. “I am sending love, hope and strength to you all and praying for your babies to come.”
