Austen Kroll Gives Advice to Girlfriend Madison LeCroy for Her First Season on Southern Charm

Since this is Austen Kroll's third season on Southern Charm, he's an old pro at the reality TV game at this point. Still, he admitted to The Daily Dish podcast he was not looking forward to the season and was in fact pretty nervous. One aspect potentially causing that nervousness? His girlfriend, Madison LeCroy, made her debut on the Season 6 premiere and people definitely have strong opinions about her.
"She's kind of like the hot topic. She seems to have made quite the impression," Austen told The Daily Dish podcast. And indeed, Shep Rose is not a fan of Madison — and it appears the feeling is mutual. However, Madison has found fans in both Patricia Altschul and Naomie Olindo, both of whom she considers close friends.
"I know that she's nervous; Patricia's wanted her to come around more than she has in the past and now that she's dating me, Patricia's like, 'Yay, Madison's going to be around!' because they have a great friendship," he explained.
Despite Madison's supporters, Austen is fearful about the overall fan reaction to Madison — and he has a word of advice for her.
"I'm nervous in the sense that... my first season, I was reading all the comments because I was the golden boy on Season 4 and I'm like, 'Oh, everyone loves me. This is amazing.' And Madison is a comment-reader," he said. "And the comments are going to be coming in hot and heavy for the first month and I just want her to not get so caught up in it. If we could unplug and pull a Craig [Conover] and move to the Bahamas for a month just to get away from it all for a minute, but that's just what I hope does not happen."
