After kicking off the charter season both a stew and deckhand down, Captain Jason Chambers officially picked up a new crew member on Episode 2 of Below Deck Down Under Season 2 (which aired on July 24).

How to Watch

While the deck team remained a man down until Season 1 alum Culver Bradbury returned to the show on Episode 3, the interior team gained a new crew member before the first charter ended.

Margot Sisson is the stew who joined Aesha Scott's short-handed interior crew on M/Y Northern Sun, and she shared a little bit about her yachting background on the second episode.

"I wanted a job where I could travel," Margot said on the show about why the yachting industry piqued her interest.

After working with an intense chief stew on her last boat, Margot noted that she's "scared to take initiative, which is annoying."

"I've always been really insecure," she added. "I literally always think I'm doing a bad job."

Who is Margot Sisson, the new stew on Below Deck Down Under?

With a birthdate of August 28, Margot is a Virgo. Margot currently has about two years worth of experience in the yachting industry, and she also previously worked at Amazon writing up product descriptions. When she's not living and working on a yacht, Margot loves to explore new cities and find "every bakery [she] possibly can," her Bravo bio notes.

Margot Sisson's Connection to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht Alum

Though Margot is now working under Below Deck Mediterranean alum/Below Deck Down Under O.G. Aesha Scott, her first experience working with a Below Deck yachtie was actually with a Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 alum.

"I worked on a boat with Natasha DeBourg," Margot shared in her Q&A bio about the chef.

She also noted that if she could switch places with any yachtie from a Below Deck series, it would be Courtney Skippon from Below Deck Season 7.

"She seems to surround herself with scenic views, self-care, nature, good food, and the people she loves most (which is exactly how I am)," Margot responded in her bio.

Margot Sisson's TMI Charter Guest Story

When asked about her "wildest" experience with a charter guest, Margot recalled when one individual made an odd request.

"I had a guest ask if I would pop a huge zit on his back once, but it was a boil and told him he needed to go to a doctor," she answered in her bio.
