Below Deck's Izzy Wouters Comes Out as a Lesbian: "I Am Out and Proud"
"Thank you so much for your support everyone," the Season 8 deckhand shared.
Izzy Wouters has come out as a lesbian in a new post on Instagram.
The Below Deck Season 8 crew member opened up about her sexuality in a post shared on December 15. "The face of the straight men who slide into my dm’s when I say - HELLO MY NAME IS IZZY AND I AM OUT AND PROUD," Izzy wrote in the post, which featured a couple of photos of herself from this season of Below Deck.
Izzy also included a rainbow, rainbow flag, and a collection of rainbow heart emojis in the post, as well as "#OutAndProud."
She also wrote in her Instagram Story, "Hello world, I'm Izzy and I'm a very lanky lesbian."
Many members of the Below Deck family have been sending Izzy their love, including Eddie Lucas, Shane Coopersmith, Elizabeth Frankini, Rachel Hargrove, Courtney Skippon, Anastasia Surmava, and Kasey Cohen, all of whom applauded the deckhand's announcement in the comments to her Instagram post.
Izzy also showed her gratitude for all the kind words she has received since coming out. "Thank you so much for your support everyone," she shared in her Instagram Story.
