Shane Coopersmith

Shane Coopersmith is a California native who was born in San Diego. He grew up in the water and learned to swim before he could walk. While working at the California Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey, Shane developed an appetite for the illustrious industry. Now, Shane is attempting to break into the word of yachting with his natural charm. The chill surfer is also an intellectual with a degree in environmental sustainability from UC Berkeley. A talented spearfisher, Shane loves to implement his environmentalist ideals for his charter guests and crew by diving beneath the waves to catch, clean, and eat food. Shane is on deck this season with an open, honest heart and with any luck hopes to change someone’s opinion about their effect on the planet.
