Surprise! Kate Chastain Is Returning to The Traitors for Season 2

Of course, The Traitors had more twists in store. Season 2 of the hit reality show, now streaming on Peacock, has added a familiar — and dangerous — face from Season 1. Kate Chastain of Below Deck and Dr. Will Kirby of Big Brother are joining the series' sophomore season, as their previously unannounced additions will have them shaking up the competition when they join the cast.
Chastain, a fan-favorite as Chief Stew on Bravo’s Below Deck before leaving the yacht-based reality show after six seasons, was also a fan-favorite on Season 1 of The Traitors. The show, which is hosted by Alan Cumming, pits a group of reality stars against one another in a series of challenges where they must work to win $250,000 — and correctly identify the three “traitors” among them who are working against the interests of the group. Last season, Chastain placed fifth. While she might not have won the grand prize, her attitude and gameplay instincts won her a lot of fans.
What is Kate Chastain up to on The Traitors (again)?
“I think you missed me,” Chastain says in a new trailer for Season 2, which reveals her and Kirby’s late-season additions.
“Tell me everything,” she asks in another scene as she presumably tries to catch up to speed with the various dynamics and betrayals of the season so far. “Who do we hate?”
It’s unclear if Chastain will be a Faithful or a Traitor — a question that will surely be on the minds of the rest of the Season 2 cast.
Kirby, known as Dr. Will or “Evil Doctor,” is a Big Brother legend. He’s rejoining Season 2 of The Traitors as a “surprise guest.”
Chastain will make her grand return to The Traitors starting with the January 25 episode, which will be available to stream on Peacock at 6pm PT/9pm ET.
