Captain Sandy Yawn Just Revealed the Sweetest Update on Her Relationship with Leah Shafer

Captain Sandy Yawn is opening up about her relationship with Leah Shafer. The Below Deck Mediterranean boss took to Instagram to reveal the latest glimpse at her romance with her longtime girlfriend, whom she met in 2018, with a heartfelt post.

"Love is love and I love this woman!" she wrote in the caption of her April 23 post, which featured a sweet capture of Captain Sandy alongside her girlfriend aboard a lavish cruise ship. The Below Deck Med boss went on to add, "When you are ready love will find you as it did for me!"

Leah couldn't help but express her love for Captain Sandy in the comments of the post, writing, "I love US, and this ship is BEYOND amazing! Wowza."

In addition to expressing her devotion to Leah, Captain Sandy also shared a look at the lovebirds' Easter together. "We are wishing you all a Happy Easter or whatever holiday you celebrate!" she wrote in the caption of her post, alongside a stunning photo of the couple.

Last month, Captain Sandy and Leah shared their fun trip to Los Angeles, as Captain Sandy posted on Instagram a series of snapshots from their getaway. "Such a beautiful evening with my love [Leah] and our dear friend Maria," she wrote in the caption of her March 16 post, adding, "Making memories here in LA."

Captain Sandy also gushed about her love in an Instagram post she shared on her birthday. "Today is my birthday and I'm away for work. This is what love looks like," she wrote in the caption of her February 23 post, which featured a video of Leah putting her impressive vocal abilities on display, as the gospel singer belted out a romantic song for Captain Sandy in honor of the Below Deck Med boss's special day. Captain Sandy went on to show her gratitude for the heartwarming gesture, writing, "Thank you my love."

This isn't the first time the Below Deck Med boss has opened up about her relationship with Leah, as she dished on their romance in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider last year. 

Captain Sandy shared that the couple spends time not only with each other but also with Leah's daughter from her previous marriage, Lauren. As for the possibility of she and Leah one day tying the knot, Captain Sandy said, "Yeah, you know, honestly, slow and steady wins the race. So I do. I do. I mean, who knows? Like, it's only been two years. Just under two years, so let's see."
