Gary King Admits to Being in a "Weird" Situationship with Daisy Kelliher
The dynamic between Gary and Daisy got even more complicated on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Episode 8 — and it's all thanks to Colin MacRae.
Gary King is officially feeling the heat after sharing a kiss with Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew Mads Herrera.
Though the First Mate admitted that he felt a connection with the stew, his long-standing situationship with chief stew Daisy Kelliher is still ongoing.
Gary King Calls His Relationship with Daisy Kelliher "Weird"
In the clip above, which is from Episode 7, Gary admits that he doesn't want Daisy to know that he made out with Mads in the hot tub.
"Daisy doesn't need to know anything about my kissing life, because every time I've hooked up with a girl Daisy tries her hardest to c-ck block me," Gary said in an interview on the episode. "She doesn't want me, it's just she just doesn't want anyone else to have me. It's f-cking weird."
Where Gary Stands with Other Crew Members, Including Colin
On the following episode, which aired on May 29, Gary got into hot water with a few of the other crew members besides Daisy when he told the girls about some of the things the boys had been saying about them in private.
"You just ditched the boys, and you just f-cking threw us under the bus," Colin told Gary, which you can check out in the video above. In an interview on Episode 8, Colin noted that Gary's move was "a direct violation of bro code number one," which is, "Don't tell the girls what you said about them!"
Colin and Daisy's Kiss
Early on in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht episode, Gary told Colin that he had feelings for Mads and that he wanted to "fall in love... so badly." Well, it looked like Colin also had love on the brain.
After the crew went out for dinner, they returned to Parsifal III to keep the party going. When Mads and Gary snuck away to a guest cabin for some alone time, Colin and Daisy decided to try to annoy them.
While they were walking upstairs toward the guest quarters, Colin then kissed Daisy. The episode ended as the two decided to spend time together in Daisy's cabin, so viewers will have to stay tuned to see what happens between the longtime pals — and to find out how Gary reacts.
Where Daisy and Gary Stand Today
Though fans will have to keep watching Season 4 to see more from the Gary, Daisy, and Colin love triangle, the First Mate and the chief stew recently spoke with The Daily Beast to reveal more about their relationship today.
“I think people are fascinated by our relationship because of how far we’ve come from Season 2," Gary said about how the pair went from enemies to friends to something more. "We were almost like a brother and sister with how we were at each other’s throats fighting and arguing over everything, to then hooking up and kissing in Season 3. And also our work relationship [has changed], how we’ve gone from where we were to where we are now and having such a good, professional work ethic with each other."
“I don’t think I saw it coming, especially the makeout in the hot tub," Daisy agreed.
Fans aren't the only ones who are rooting for the two to turn their friendship into something more. Gary said that his loved ones have pointed out that there is chemistry between him and Daisy.
"I think the viewers can see that. I’m not sure what Daisy says about that, but I still honestly believe there is chemistry there and we do have a connection," Gary concluded. "Viewers can see that and I think people love a good love story."
