Gary King Spills About Chatting with Taylor Ann Green and Reacts to Danielle Olivera’s Crush
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member also shared his thoughts on several other eligible Bravolebs.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Gary King is single and ready to mingle.
The first mate was tasked with swiping left or right on several eligible yachties as part of a Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen game on April 24, and among those he’s interested in are Below Deck Mediterranean’s Bugsy Drake and Courtney Veale, as well as Below Deck’s Camille Lamb.
Gary’s crushes aren’t limited to the Below Deck universe, though. A WWHL viewer pointed out that Danielle Olivera recently said that Gary would be “fun” to hang out with, and upon seeing a photo of the Summer House cast member, he declared that she’s “very cute” with a “nice smile.”
There’s no telling if the two will hit it off should they meet in the future, but it turns out there’s another Bravoleb Gary’s certain he’ll have a connection with: Southern Charm’s Taylor Ann Green. He revealed that they’ve “been chatting,” and he’s “looking forward to meeting her” if and when he gets the chance.
Gary dished further on Taylor during a recent episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. Looking back at last year’s BravoCon, he said he “didn’t have the chance to meet her,” so he “slid into her DMs.”
As a result, he learned that Taylor had apparently taken notice of him too. “I think she caught me eyeing her a little bit from a distance, and when I slid into her DMs, she actually mentioned it,” Gary explained. “She’s like, ‘I saw you looking at me. Why didn’t you come say hi?’ And Gary, who he is, is never nervous, [but] I was just too nervous. I was shy.”
That, and perhaps a little unnerved by Taylor’s ex, Shep Rose. As Gary — who has admittedly “never seen” Southern Charm before — put it, “She was bombarded by that very tall guy who I thought was her boyfriend, who I believe was previously. And he’s intimidating. I’m not the tallest — I’m like, what, 5'8", 5'9" — and he’s like 6'6" and he towers over me like the Eiffel Tower.”
Looking back, though, Gary said he wished he had approached Taylor in person. “I’m actually shooting myself in the foot,” he said, “so hopefully in the future, it can happen.”
After all, the two are still in touch. “We chat every now and then,” Gary added. “She seems like a really, really cool girl… I love her outlook on life. I like how easygoing she is, and it doesn’t seem like she takes anything too seriously.”
