Captain Glenn Shephard Jokes "Who the Hell Is That?" in Photo with Below Deck Sailing Yacht Alum

Captain Glenn Shephard definitely has a sense of humor about himself on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and that is even more true if you follow him on social media. And when the Parsifal III boss recently caught up with a past member of his crew, he couldn't help but poke a little fun at himself.

A photo posted by Captain Glenn on Instagram on January 30 shows him reuniting with Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1's chief engineer, Byron Hissey. The post, which was tagged in Simpson Bay Lagoon in St. Martin, featured a cheeky caption from the playful Parsifal III captain. "Who the hell is that? No not Bryon, that dodgy looking dude sitting next to him," Captain Glenn joked about himself in the post.

All kidding aside, Captain Glenn took a second to get a little sentimental in his Instagram post, ending with the hashtag "BFFs." Captain Glenn and Byron also got some love in the comments section of the post from Season 1 crew members Chris Miller and Madison Stalker, who called the lads "legends."

Byron also shared the same photo on his Instagram, along with the caption, "Catch-ups in the Caribbean. Great to see you [Captain Glenn]. Happy Sailing!"

Captain Glenn recently opened up more about his friendship with Byron in the above video exclusive to Bravo Insider members. "Byron's probably one of my best buddies, so I spend a lot of time with Byron," Captain Glenn shared. "He was living in Palma, which I also call home, so we spent some time there in the fall."

Aside from Byron, it looks like Gary King is one of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew members you'll see most on Captain Glenn's Instagram. Whether it's at work or at play, these sailors are all smiles when they're together, even if Captain Glenn joked that Gary is his "nemesis" in the above Bravo Insider video, because he "can't seem to get rid of him."

In fact, Captain Glenn counted Gary and Colin MacRae among his "favorite dudes" in a post on Instagram in December. "I’ve had plenty of good laughs with these guys," Captain Glenn added in the post.

Captain Glenn, Gary, and Colin, as well as chief stew Daisy Kelliher, will all be back for the upcoming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 premiering with a supersized episode on Monday, February 21 at 8/7c. They will be joined by several new crew members, including chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.
