Below Deck's Tanner Sterback Hooked up with Below Deck Med's Aesha Scott

Things are getting pretty steamy for Below Deck's Tanner Sterback these days — and not only with Simone Mashile, either.
Below Deck Mediterranean's Aesha Scott revealed in the November 12 episode of her podcast Going Overboard that she hooked up with Tanner. The two first met in Los Angeles after Tanner filmed this season of Below Deck. "One thing leads to another, we all went out to a club, and he ended up coming back with me," Aesha recalled.
She was also extremely complimentary of Tanner's, uh, performance, as well as his appearance, saying that he looked like "a mix between" Scott Disick and Matthew McConaughey. "He is a really lovely guy," Aesha said of Tanner.
Tanner later confirmed the hookup during a recent interview with Decider. The deckhand had not only been hanging out with Aesha but also João Franco and Colin Macy-O'Toole at a viewing party for the Season 4 premiere of Below Deck Med in L.A. over the summer. However, it was Aesha with whom he really clicked. “We hung out, went out dancing, flirting a little bit, and one thing led to another, we woke up together and that was it," he shared. "She went back to New Zealand and I went back to New York."
According to Decider, Tanner added that Aesha's comments that he was well-endowed were "high praise." He also noted that Aesha checked with him first before opening up about their night together on her podcast, for which he "was grateful." "It was good press, I’ll take good press," he said.
Tanner has also spent some platonic time with his fellow Sayville, New York native Colin. He reached out to the Below Deck Med yachtie prior to the premiere of Season 7 of Below Deck “about what to expect." Tanner said Colin has "been so helpful" and is "one of the nicest guys."
"[We’ve] gotten beers a couple times and he just wants to do anything he can to help out," Tanner said, teasing a potential upcoming collaboration with Colin.
Neither Tanner nor Aesha are strangers to high-seas hookups. Aesha quickly struck up a romance with Jack Stirrup in Season 4 of Below Deck Med. Though the two walked off the yacht hand-in-hand when the season ended, their relationship fizzled out once they got on land and Jack got back together with his girlfriend, Kelly Hidge, with whom he is expecting his first child. Things also got flirty between Tanner and Kate Chastain at the start of this season of Below Deck. However, he and Simone ultimately grew closer and finally ended up hooking up in Monday night's episode of Below Deck. You can hear more about that in the Below Deck Season 7 After Show, above.
