Below Deck's Tanner Sterback Has a New Girlfriend: "I've Never Been Happier"
The deckhand also gives an update on where things stand with Simone Mashile today.
Things may be flirty between Tanner Sterback and Simone Mashile this season of Below Deck (more on that in the Below Deck Season 7 After Show, above), but the deckhand has since begun a new relationship off the boat.
Tanner recently shared a photo of himself cozying up to his new special someone, Corinna Pico, on Instagram on December 14. The pic shows the pair looking perfectly content in paradise while on vacation in Puerto Rico.
"Feeling very thankful on this beautiful Saturday as I get to spend it with someone who makes me the happiest person everyday. For putting up with all my shenanigans and talking me out of all the filth that is spread," Tanner wrote in the post. "We’re happy here in Puerto Rico and I hope you all can wake up everyday and spread as much good energy as this beautiful soul does for me. Happy Saturday and much love!"
Below Deck Mediterranean's Aesha Scott, who hooked up with Tanner following Season 7 of Below Deck, gave two thumbs up to the new relationship in the comments to the Instagram post. "10000% well said, good vibes only," she wrote. "So happy for you!"
Tanner thanked Aesha for the kind words. "Much love and hope all is well," he replied in the comments.
The deckhand previously confirmed that he was not single during an interview with OK! Magazine earlier this month. "I'm in a good relationship right now, and I'm really happy about it," he said. "You know, I'm a person that's never really been looking for a relationship, and she kind of captured me a little bit in the best way possible. I've never been happier, to be honest, so it's really nice."
Tanner had more lovely things to say about Corinna while sending her the sweetest birthday wishes in a post on Instagram on December 7. "Happy Birthday @corinnapico. Thank you so much for putting up with all my shenanigans and being the best Tito stepmom in the books," he shared. "You make [me] so happy and I’m so grateful I get to spend the day with you. Let’s make it one to remember. Love you ya jerk!"
There are no hard feelings between Tanner and Simone these days, though. "Simone and I are great," he told OK! Magazine. "We talk every now and again through Instagram and stuff, but definitely still friendly."
