Bethenny Frankel and Tinsley Mortimer Apparently Once Went Out with the Same Guy

Is Joe Farrell the new Tom D'Agostino on The Real Housewives of New York City?

By Laura Rosenfeld

The pool of eligible bachelors in the Big Apple is very small, as we've learned time and time again on The Real Housewives of New York City as several of the ladies seem to have the same suitors, most notably Harry Dubin and Tom D'Agostino. And apparently, it just keeps on getting tinier.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Prior to attending a cocktail party at the multimillion dollar Bridgehampton home of Ramona Singer's friend, Joe Farrell, in the April 16 episode of RHONY (clip above), Tinsley Mortimer revealed that she once went on a date with the host — and she's apparently not the only one. "I found out that when I was on my date with Joe Farrell that he knows Ramona and that he even went on a date with Bethenny [Frankel], so I could just tell he's not my type," she said in an interview during the episode. "I don't think he drinks, either, so he's definitely not my type."

It also didn't help that for Tinsley's date with Joe, he took her to a basketball game where she said they "just sat there." "I don't even know if you would consider it a date because it was like the lamest date ever," she recalled to Leah McSweeney during the episode.

Tinsley had been dating a man in Chicago named Bruce during this season of RHONY. But of course, we all know that she eventually broke up with Bruce and rekindled her romance with Scott Kluth last fall before he popped the question in November 2019.

As for Bethenny, who confirmed she would not be returning for Season 12 of RHONY in August 2019, she has been happily dating boyfriend Paul Bernon for the past year-and-a-half.
