Tinsley Mortimer Shares How Scott (Probably) Feels About Her Ex Bruce

While Tinsley Mortimer is planning for her happily ever after with Scott Kluth these days, when they were on a break she was dating other people, specifically a twice-divorced dad named Bruce, who, like Scott, was also Chicago-based. And fans learned a bit about him in the Season 12 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City.

When The Daily Dish spoke to Tinsley ahead of the premiere episode, she revealed whether she was nervous to have Scott watch it all play out.

"He dated other people when we broke up. I did too. Scott knows that inevitably I always wanted to be with him. I know that he wants to be with me too. We both for whatever reasons there was, just complications in our relationship that made us think that he’d never sort of get it together. I’m not concerned about that because Scott knows how we are. Scott knows this was a while ago," she said. "And inevitably, look, I mean I dated a guy that lived in Chicago and, and I didn’t know it at the time, but it was obvious that I was dating that person because he was from Chicago. Because it was somehow like a link to Scott. And Scott knows that."

While Bruce wasn't the one, Tinsley has only nice things to say about him. "The guy was a nice guy," she said. "I mean even [when I was] dating that guy, I still, of course, missed Scott and wanted to be with Scott. [I] didn’t think it was gonna work [with Scott at that time], so I had to try to move on in my life... In the end, you know, [it] worked out."
