Bethenny Speaks Out on RHONY Shake-Up

'I don't think it's personal,' B states.

It's last call on The Real Housewives of New York City for Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord, and Cindy Barshop, but Bethenny Frankel sees the change as simply business as usual.

"I'm not surprised only because it's been the same cast for so many years and Bravo ... likes to make changes. They probably just felt like it was time for a change. People do that in relationships, they do that in work strategy," the former RHONY cast member tells EOnline. "I don't think it's personal. I think it's really just business."

In fact, the Bethenny Ever After star encourages the quartet to see the silver lining in their new change of pace. "The girls are probably a little nervous and scared, because it's change. It can be lucrative when you get a lot of attention, but I also think it's very tiring. They'll get to relax a little more and not be scrutinized all the time."

Indeed, Alex is already heeding B's words and focusing on her business ventures. "Building a company is always better than bickering," she said on Good Morning America about growing her textile company, Aluxe Home, and tweeted, "Oh honey, just bc life changes doesn't mean the music ever stops!"
