The Internet Needs to Stop Pitting Beyoncé and Rihanna Against Each Other

Dear BeyHive and Navy: There's room for everyone at the top.

Apparently there are members of the BeyHive and the Navy who are trying to make shade happen between Beyoncé and Rihanna. According to a report from ONTD , the "Work" singer and former Styled to Rock host allegedly "liked" a tweet that pointed out that one of her unreleased Anti tracks, "Desperado," was sitting higher on Billboard's Bubbling Under 100 chart than Bey's latest single, "Formation." The reported shade was screenshotted before the user deleted the tweet and wiped away Rihanna's "like" from Twitter history.

The Internet is now going into overdrive using the event to pit the two performers against each other via a series of tweets, with each fan army trying to outshine the other.

However, it begs the question: Why can't we all get along? Instead of using this opportunity to divide these two incredible women, can't we focus on loving them each for their awesome contributions to music? These fans just so happen to agree.

While you ponder that life question, check out these throwback photos of Rihanna.
