Brittany Cartwright “Definitely” Wants A Sibling for the Son She Shares with Jax

Plus, Brittany shared what coparenting with Jax is really like these days.

By Stephanie Gomulka

Brittany Cartwright wants to one day give her 2-year-old son she shares with Jax Taylor a sibling. Whether or not she'd have her second child with Jax is still up in the air, though.

How to Watch

Watch The Valley on Peacock.

Jax and Brittany announced their separation in February, with the former Vanderpump Rules stars remaining committed to co-parenting their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi. Both have confronted accusations (and denied rumors) of their split being a publicity stunt for The Valley premiere since.

"I think it's kinda weird to be doing a publicity stunt with your marriage, especially when you have a family," Jax previously told The Daily Dish.

Clearly, family remains a top priority for Jax and Brittany. Here's what they think about expanding that family, whether that's together or on their own.

Does Brittany Cartwright want to have another kid?

Yes, she still does even after this split.

“I’ve always wanted more than one kid,” Brittany told The Daily Dish in a recent interview.

“I love it,” Brittany emphasized about motherhood — and Brittany views Jax as an “amazing father."

However, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be the father of her second child.

“I want to [have more kids], whether that’s with Jax or somebody else,” Brittany told The Daily Dish, later adding, “We’ll see where it goes. I’m only 35. I still have some time … I mean Lala got a sperm donor. I mean, who knows what I’ll do. If I want another kid, I will make it happen.”

Her friends commend that choice. Brittany was born to be a mom, Kristen Doute told The Daily Dish in the same interview.

How old is Brittany and Jax’s son Cruz?

Cruz is currently 2 years old, but he will turn 3 years old on April 12. He’s started school and is doing well, according to Brittany.

“He’s definitely the cutest little kid I’ve ever seen in my life,” Brittany said. “He is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

Brittany on Co-Parenting Cruz with Jax

Jax and her are “definitely gonna be fine” coparenting Cruz even if they never get back together, Brittany said.

“Cruz comes first to both of us no matter what,” Brittany said. “He is just the joy of my life, like I can’t imagine that, like, three years ago he wasn’t even alive, you know? That is so crazy to me. It just feels like he’s always been here.”

These days, Cruz stays busy with swimming lessons and is getting ready to start soccer, Brittany said. He even appears on The Valley alongside his parents.

“He’s growing so fast, even watching the first episode, I’m like, he looks so little, ‘cause he is so tall now,” Brittany gushed.
