Jason Caperna Shares "Sick" New Info on Sandoval’s Affair: “Hard for Me to Ever Get Over”
Attorney Jason Caperna delivered a curt summation about Tom Sandoval: “He doesn’t care about relationships.”
Tom Sandoval’s affair drove a stake through the heart of his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.
It’s been months since Ariana discovered his betrayal — and aftershocks continue to affect group dynamics.
The subject came up again on Vanderpump Rules After Show, with The Valley’s Jason Caperna sharing surprising new info on Sandoval’s affair and explaining why not everyone is ready to move on.
It will be “hard for me to ever get over,” emphasized the accomplished attorney and a devoted new dad.
Is Jason Caperna friends with Tom Sandoval?
As seen in this After Show clip, Sandoval’s cheating came up when a moderator asked how people feel about including Sandoval in group activities.
Scheana Shay wanted to disinvite Sandoval to a beach event, but her husband, Brock Davies, convinced her not to do that. Why?

Speaking for himself as well as James Kennedy, who was also part of the conversation, Brock essentially said that he believes it’s time to put the past in the past.
“We’re kind of like, ‘Whatever, we’re over this stuff,’” said Brock. “We’re gonna move on with our lives. But I think it’s just trying to get the rest of the group to catch up.”
Scheana, seated with Kristen Doute, politely disagreed.
“I can respect that stance,” Scheana said, adding that the situation “with Tom and Ariana” is in a league of its own.
“The way Tom’s actions have been,” she said matter-of-factly, “I don’t know that there is a road to mending that fence.”
Jason seconded her sentiment, when he fielded the topic alongside The Valley castmates Jesse Lally and Danny Booko.
“Generally speaking, I am a person who likes to bridge gaps between people,” said Jason. “But with Ariana and Tom, I’m like, you know what, what he did, to me, is just at [another] level … If Ariana doesn’t want to be around him and she doesn't want her friends around him, I totally get it.”
Jason believes that others have to face the music when they align with Sandoval.
“If you want to hang out with him then you have to face the repercussions of her not wanting to hang out with you,” Jason said.
Jason also painted a damning picture of what went on during the affair before Ariana discovered it.
“Just being around them before everything broke,” he explained, is now very eye-opening.
“The way that the three of them would hang out and just be like, ‘I love you. I love you,’ and like always [be] all up on each other .... " he reflected.
Looking back at Sandoval's "sick" actions still disturbs him.
“It's hard for me to ever get over that, personally,” Jason said.
He added that how Sandoval treated Ariana — “a person he's in a relationship with for 10 years, has respect for, is in love with” — makes him question why he’d want a friendship “with someone like that?”
In lawyer mode, Jason delivered a summation about Sandoval: “He doesn’t care about relationships.”
Janet Caperna, seated with Jesse’s estranged wife Michelle Saniei Lally and Nia Booko, added her two cents on Sandoval.
“He does not seem remorseful, genuinely remorseful,” she said. “I think if he found remorse and expressed that he would be in a much better position with the rest of the group.”
