Would Captain Lee Rosbach Officiate Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s Wedding? He Says…

Below Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach is already the stud of the sea, but would he become the officiant of the ocean?

All five captains in the Below Deck universe — Lee, Sandy Yawn, Glenn Shephard, Jason Chambers, and Kerry Titheradge — appeared on the November 1 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (which was taped during BravoCon 2022).

Host Andy Cohen asked Captain Lee a fan question about whether he would officiate the wedding of Summer House’s Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard.

“I am absolutely considering officiating his wedding,” Captain Lee responded. “I would be honored to do that.”

While Carl and Captain Lee’s connection may seem random to some fans, the two actually share a deep history with each other. 

In 2021, during Part 2 of the Summer House Season 5 reunion, Lindsay shared that Captain Lee contacted Carl after his older brother, Curtis Radke, passed away.

“Captain Lee [Rosbach] has experienced the same thing with his son and reached out to Carl,” Lindsay shared at the reunion, referencing the passing of Captain Lee’s son, Joshua, in 2019 after a battle with addiction. “And it was like the most beautiful, sweet thing, this connection through traumatic experience.”

After their initial interaction, Carl and Captain Lee stayed in touch. The captain later played a part in encouraging Carl to pursue his romantic connection with Lindsay again.

“He’s been someone I check in with periodically, and I had mentioned that I was coming up on almost my year of sobriety, and Lindsay and I were getting more romantic, and just kind of talking through it,” Carl said during a February appearance on WWHL. “He kind of laid the groundwork for me to really feel confident with wanting to move forward with Lindsay.”

The Summer House star finally met the man he referred to as a “father figure” in person for the first time at BravoCon 2022. 

“It was really strange, because Carl and I had never met in person. We had only conversed over the phone, on FaceTime…” Captain Lee said during his November WWHL appearance. “To finally meet him in person and just wrap my arms around him, give him a big hug, and [I said], ‘It’s gonna be OK. We’re gonna get through it.’”

Could their next face-to-face meeting be at the altar on Carl’s wedding day?
