Captain Lee Has This to Say About His First-Ever Below Deck Reunion

Plus, find out if the Below Deck captain has ever been nervous to show up at a reunion.

It's been nearly a decade since Below Deck first set sail, but Captain Lee Rosbach remembers Season 1 like it was yesterday.

How to Watch

The yachtie revealed as much during a recent interview with E! News' Justin Sylvester, who asked Captain Lee what his first reunion was like. "It was brief," he said, explaining that he didn't join the crew on camera until "three quarters of the way through."

"I was out there for, like, ten minutes max," Captain Lee added, admitting he "had it easy," as Justin put it.

As far as other Below Deck reunions go, Justin asked him, "Have you ever been afraid to show up at a reunion because you knew someone was gonna try to come for you?"

"No," Captain Lee responded. "I look forward to that...bring it."

The interview comes shortly after the premiere of Below Deck Season 10, during which the captain made a surprising confession about his health. "I am a little incapacitated," he told the crew. "I have a nerve issue on my left side so I am going to depend on you guys in some areas."

It turns out that Captain Lee had undergone back surgery before filming for Season 10 started. Thankfully, "the worst is behind me now," he said, "and the doctors have assured me that I’m just going to continue to get better."

Captain Lee also took to Twitter after the premiere aired, responding to a fan who was emotional from watching the episode. "I really hope your health is good," the fan said, to which Captain Lee responded, "I'm doing well, thanks for asking, appreciate you."

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.
