Carole Radziwill Reflects on the Moment Andy Cohen Asked Her to Join RHONY
The RHONY alum opens up about her history with the WWHL host.
Before sharing her life with fans of The Real Housewives of New York City during her six-season run on the franchise, Carole Radziwill was writing, splitting her time between NYC and L.A., dating, and spending her time in a "a quiet, creative life" — until a fateful encounter with Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen.
She recalled a conversation that she had with Andy during an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider's Life After Bravo (above).
"It was a dinner, actually. I knew Andy a little bit socially, so I knew he had this talk show [Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen]. We had mutual friends, and I showed up at this dinner one night and he asked me at that dinner if I would consider coming on this show... I didn't think he was serious. We probably had a lot to drink at dinner," Carole recalled.

At the time, even though she didn't know much about the show, Carole said that she agreed to do RHONY because "I thought, it's just a show. I can't say that I did lists of pros and cons and all that stuff."
Carole eventually joined the show in Season 5 and left RHONY after Season 10. In her last season, things did get a little tense between her and Andy during the reunion — who could forget the "so full of s--t" comment?
Carole added in her Life After Bravo interview that she learned a lot about human nature during her time on RHONY. To hear more from Carole about her days on RHONY and her life now, check out the video, above.
