Caroline Stanbury Is Having a Life-Changing Experience in Haiti
The #LadiesOfLondon mom is feeling "totally inspired" on this charity trip.
No one jet sets quite like the Ladies of London. But Caroline Stanbury is currently on a very special kind of journey.
The Ladies of London mom is in Haiti on a trip with Artists for Peace and Justice, an organization that helps communities in the country through programs in education, healthcare, and the arts. Caroline brought clothes and toys over for children in Haiti.
Caroline received "the warmest of welcomes" from a group of kids, who seemed to fall in love with her blonde hair, just as the Ladies of London furniture designer fell in love with them.
Caroline said that she has been "totally inspired" by what she's seen in Haiti, especially those who have been able to smile "in the face of adversity."
There have been other eye-opening moments for Caroline on the trip so far, such as visiting a children's hospital, which she tweeted was "honestly the hardest thing I have ever seen or experienced."
Caroline also visited a school that she helped build with Artists for Peace and Justice where she met a talented class of students.
While in Haiti, Caroline will also be helping to support scholarships for young women.
We can't wait to see more of Caroline's inspiring trip.
