All the Bouncing Bravo Babies Born in 2018
Real Housewives, a Top Chef judge, and Million Dollar Listing agents all expanded their families.
Sure, we're just days away from changing the diaper on Baby New Year, what with 2019 being just around the bend, but let's not forget that 2018 was chock full of births. From Real Housewives to Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agents to a Top Chef judge, no one was immune to baby fever. Sure, a few of these parents were old pros by the time they expanded their families, but there are also a number of first-time mamas and papas who we're sure got an eye-opening look at what life as a parent feels like in 2018.
Below, we're taking a look back at the babies we met in the last year.
Brandi Redmond
In early 2018, The Real Housewives of Dallas mom welcomed a third child into her life, a strawberry-blonde son, Bruin Charles, via adoption. Back in May, she opened up about her little boy, sharing, “From the moment that I met him for the first time, he just looked straight into my eyes, held my finger as tight as he could, and let out this giant grin. And it’s been like that ever since. He smiles all the time and just giggles and laughs.”
Eva Marcille
It was a bouncing baby boy for The Real Housewives of Atlanta model, who in April welcomed her first child with now-husband, attorney Michael Sterling. Little Michael Todd Sterling Jr. joined big sister, Marley Rae, from a previous relationship with musician Kevin McCall. How excited was Eva upon Michael's birth? Well, she exclaimed "All praises be to God!" on Instagram.
David Parnes
Also in April, the MDLLA agent and wife Adrian Abnosi welcomed their first child, a little girl named India. Shortly after the birth, he shared, "We can’t wait to spend every day with you. Thank you for lightening up our lives."
Matt Altman
In May, fellow MDLLA agent and Josh Altman's big brother also became a dad... to twins, daughter, London, and son, Ashton. So, how did Matt feel about the day they were born? Well, he called it "just the best day of my life."
Gail Simmons
The Top Chef judge welcomed her second child, a son, Kole Jack Abrams, in May. Her first thoughts on the tot? "He's here! And he's a keeper."
Meghan King Edmonds
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum welcomed her twin boys, Hayes and Hart, into the already-large Edmonds family in June, making Aspen a big sister twice over. "They made it," Meghan shared at the time. "Everyone is safe and healthy."
Parker Young
In July, Imposters actor welcomed his daughter, Jaxon Orion Young, with his partner, Stephanie Weber. At the time, he shared, “As a man who has been raised by an incredible mother, I have so much love and respect for women. It’s amazing knowing I’m about to have a daughter. We are so grateful #thefutureisfemale.”
Lilly Ghalichi
Shahs of Sunset alum Lilly Ghalichi welcomed her first child, a daughter, Alara Mir, in September. And, she even wore the exact right accessory to the birth: "Our hearts are so full. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents. Wearing the 'MILF' Lash during delivery by [Lilly Lashes] from the 'Living Your Best Life Collection."
Monique Samuels
Oh, baby! In November, The Real Housewives of Potomac blogger welcomed her third child, son Chase Omari Samuels, one week early. How did she describe him? "He's so sweet. He's so chill already."
Shamea Morton
Also in November, The RHOA pal welcomed her first child, daughter Shya Nyambura Mwangi. "I’m officially a MOM! I have a whole new respect for women and our bodies. Child birth is nothing short of a miracle. I feel so blessed to have had this experience," she gushed at the time. "I don’t take my life nor my child’s life for granted. A 'Birthday' has a whole new meaning to me now. Whew!"
Kenya Moore
The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend's dream of becoming a mom finally came true in November when she welcomed her daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, into her life a little ahead of schedule. And, the little girl's name was chosen for several important reasons, according to the haircare expert at the time of her birth: “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me.”
Cheers to 2019
Hey, it looks like next year will be just as busy. We'll be on baby watch as Porsha Williams, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, Ashley Wirkus, Katie Rost, Gretchen Rossi, and Andy Cohen (clip above) are all expecting little bundles of joy very soon. We're sleep deprived just thinking about it.
