Craig Conover Teased a "Special Announcement" on Sewing Down South's 5th Anniversary

The Southern Charm-er revealed his home goods business was "growing" — but he's leaving fans guessing about what he's really up to.

Craig Conover's “eight-figure business," Sewing Down South, just celebrated a major milestone: its fifth year in business.

On April 1, Craig hopped on his Instagram Stories to take a video of himself relishing the company's "five-year anniversary." The Southern Charm cast member wasn't in Charleston, however, he was in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Happy five-year anniversary to Sewing Down South, thank you to all of you," Craig began in the video, where he promoted an anniversary sale for his home goods business. (The Delaware native teased in a previous Story at the airport that he was in Nashville for "something crazy.")

The entrepreneur also reminded his followers that his business launched on April Fool's Day, a "special date," considering the naysayers who "didn't think it would happen."

Craig then teased "another special announcement," facing a mural on a brick wall that said, "I believe in Nashville."

"We've got a new community that we're joining!" Craig smiled, though leaving it a little unclear whether his business expanding to Nashville was true or just an April Fool's Day joke. "Sewing Down South is growing to another one of my favorite cities. Is it an April Fool's joke? It's for you to decide."

The South Carolina resident then took a photo in front of the mural, polling his followers about the Sewing Down South news.

Craig Conover and Austen Kroll's Charleston Restaurant, By the Way

In addition to Sewing Down South, Craig recently revealed he has another business venture in the works: he and pal Austen Kroll plan to open a new restaurant — a “neighborhood tavern" dubbed By the Way — in Charleston.

“Charleston has grown so much in the last few years and brought in a lot of travelers, so we wanted to create a space where locals and travelers could hang out together and enjoy the neighborhood,” Craig told Entertainment Tonight in January about the collaborative effort with Uptown Hospitality Group. “It’s going to be a really intimate space. We put a lot of thought into the design to try and make it as warm and inviting as possible. We’re leaning into the local, upscale, tavern vibes, so the menu is going to have elevated bar fare and approachable cocktails.”
