Daisy Kelliher Spills the Tea on Her Hookup with Colin MacRae
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht chief stew helped her followers unpack the Parsifal III love triangle that’s playing out in Season 4.
On Episode 8 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4, an unexpected kiss rocked the boat. After the Parsifal III staff put on an epic talent show for their charter guests, chief stew Daisy Kelliher and engineer Colin MacRae locked lips. In her recent Instagram Stories, the stew spilled the tea on the smooch.
Of course, hookups at sea are never smooth sailing — especially for a crew that shares tight quarters and has a love triangle going on. Daisy has a bit of romantic history with fellow yachtie Gary King (more on their “situationship” later). In short, it’s a bit complicated. Daisy helped her followers unpack it all in her recent “Ask Me Anything” session.
Is Colin Jealous That Daisy Hooked Up with Gary?
In one Instagram Story, Daisy responded to the following comment: “Colin has been mad jealous that you and Gary hooked up. It shows in the last few episodes.”
Daisy called the comment “interesting” and went on to share her take on it. “I don’t think either of the boys were too impressed that I hooked up with the other,” she said. “I would never, under normal circumstances, do that. I felt very guilty about doing it. But Colin had a girlfriend — well, multiple girlfriends — for as long as I’ve known him. And Gary never expressed any interest in me. I honestly thought I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I didn’t think I was upsetting anyone, I really didn’t. I would never have hooked up with two friends or two crew members, otherwise.” She concluded: “Maybe it was just my ignorance or my naivety.”
Does Daisy Have a Crush on Colin?
Another follower chimed in, writing, “Have you always had a crush on Colin? I know I have!”
Daisy responded: “I wouldn’t describe it as a crush. I don’t really do crushes. I don’t really fancy people or have crushes. But I will say I think it was obvious to me that Colin had a crush on me maybe from Season 1. I never really thought like that because I don’t have crushes, and also he had a girlfriend, so I put him very much in the friend zone. But I realize that he probably did have a crush on me.”
In any case, a hookup was inevitable in Daisy’s eyes. “I always knew we would eventually hook up,” she said. “I knew that from about halfway through Season 1. I could feel it when we would pass by each other or touch each other.”
Daisy Says Where She Stands with Gary
One follower pointed out that on the May 29 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary mentioned that Daisy had asked him to “stay away from [her].”
Daisy responded: “When he got on the boat after [he had] COVID, I guess we were messing with each other and I jokingly said, ‘Stay away from me.” It was in a very jokey way.”
However, there was some seriousness to her remark. “I do still stand by it,” Daisy confessed. “The boys messed with my head, and I don’t want anyone to come near me, really, because it never ends well.”
However, when a follower asked Daisy where she stands with Gary today, she shared a cute picture of herself posing with her friend. “We are on good terms,” she affirmed.
