Danielle Staub Is Engaged for the 21st Time!
Danielle Staub got engaged to Oliver Maier one week after finalizing her divorce from Marty Caffrey.
Wedding bells are ringing for Danielle Staub — again! The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom just got engaged to boyfriend Oliver Maier, PEOPLE first reported.
Danielle and her new fiancé, with whom she made things Instagram official earlier this week, got engaged on Thursday, February 28 while on vacation in St. Barth's. “I’m madly in love,” Danielle told PEOPLE. “I’m feeling elated and excited for the next stage of my life. I’m going to marry the man of my possible dreams and hopefully I’ll spend the rest of my life in bliss.”
The newly engaged couple plans to tie the knot in a ceremony at the Justice of the Peace in New York City on Monday, March 4, according to PEOPLE. They will say "I do" in front of friends, including Teresa Giudice.
Danielle met Oliver, who works as the managing director of Speyside Equity, a New York City-based private equity firm, in October through a mutual friend, whom he was dating at the time. However, he and Danielle didn't start dating until February.
The news of Danielle's engagement comes about a week after her divorce from Marty Caffrey was finalized on February 21. “This has been a difficult road for Danielle, but she is glad everything is finalized and she can now move forward to the next chapter of her life,” Danielle's rep said in a statement to The Daily Dish at the time.
Danielle and Marty wed on May 5, 2018, as fans saw in Season 9 of RHONJ. But by the summer, reports of trouble in paradise for the couple began to surface. Marty filed for divorce from Danielle in August 2018.
Danielle's marriage to Oliver will be her fourth time tying the knot and her 21st engagement. She has two daughters with her second husband, Thomas Staub: Christine, 25, and Jillian, 20. This will be Oliver's second marriage. He and his ex-wife share a 12-year-old child.
