Danielle Staub Addresses Rumors She Broke Up with Fiancé Oliver Maier
Danielle Staub and her fiancé Oliver Maier made their current relationship status very clear.
Danielle Staub is addressing rumors that she and fiancé Oliver Maier have broken up less than a week after they got engaged.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey friend took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight on the gossip. She posted a video of herself with Oliver tagged at the Baccarat Hotel in New York City, where the couple shared their first kiss. "To put the rumors that he and I are not together, here I am with my love," Danielle says in the clip before kissing Oliver on the cheek.
Oliver then says "I love you" before Danielle ends the video, seemingly closing this case, "There you go."
Danielle and Oliver got engaged on February 28 while on vacation in St. Barth's. The two met in October through a mutual friend, whom Oliver was dating at the time. They began dating in February.
The couple had planned on getting married in a ceremony at the Justice of the Peace in New York City on Monday, March 4, they told PEOPLE last week. However, reports surfaced over the weekend that Danielle and Oliver had postponed their wedding, which was followed by rumors that they had broken up. It is unclear if Danielle and Oliver have set a new date for their wedding.
The news of Danielle's engagement came just about a week after her divorce from Marty Caffrey was finalized on February 21. Danielle and Marty wed on May 5, 2018 in a ceremony on Bimini Island in the Bahamas, which fans got to watch this season of RHONJ. Marty filed for divorce in August.
This is Danielle's 21st engagement, and it will be her fourth wedding. She has two daughters with her second husband, Thomas Staub: Christine, 25, and Jillian, 20. This will be Oliver's second marriage. He and his ex-wife share a 12-year-old child.
