This Is When Rosie O'Donnell's Feud with Donald Trump Really Got to Her
"I felt like I fell through the ice and I just was waiting to resurface," she said.
Even before Donald Trump became president, his name was always in the news. And more than 10 years ago, his name often appeared with Rosie O'Donnell's as the two faced off in a fierce feud on social media and in the press.
O'Donnell opened up about their drama on Thursday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and she revealed that all of Trump's criticism of everything from her appearance to her sexuality to her parenting didn't really affect her — until he became president, that is. "When he got to be president, it was very trippy," she shared (clip above). "It took me about six months to regain my equilibrium. I felt like I fell through the ice and I just was waiting to resurface."
She went on to say that the personal attacks from Trump have made "the PTSD fairly intense."
O'Donnell also discussed another one of her famous beefs during her time in the Clubhouse. Watch her recount the aftermath of her on-camera argument with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View, below.
